Sinirinta is a skilled singer from the north, who mixes skillful mimicry with her bright singing. The "Lapland nightingale" has been found to imitate dozens of bird species, and in addition numerous mechanical-sounding sounds, such as the ticking of a clock. It nests in Lapland's willows and moist fell meadows. The beautiful bluebreast is the provincial bird of Lapland.
